Florida Real Estate Post License Education, Don’t Let It Be a Rip Off

In Florida, we have a law that you need to take a class license to POST your real estate license, but before you re-new it for the first time is less than 24 months after you get your driver’s license. For sales people, there is a 45-hour course.This class is for any school in Florida real estate broker to be taken. It can be online or in a classroom. For brokers, is the prerequisite for a license extension half past two classes. These classes have before your new broker license be taken for the first time. If you do not take your post-license training and retraining your new original license on time, your license invalid. What does this mean? This means that you do not have a license. There is no grace period. You have to go back to school property. You pay the tuition fees again. Apply for a license again.Get your fingerprints again. Again after passing the exam real estate market.

How to Become a Licensed Real Estate Agent in Florida

I receive many visitors to my site, for various reasons, many of whom know how to get a real estate license in Florida. I think getting one of the reasons why I have so many questions, is that I have to hire new staff with little or no experience for my team.

Since requirements vary from non-Florida residents, I will only discuss those that apply to Florida residents.

Anyone interested in obtaining a real estate need to license not only the investment of time required to obtain a license, but the initial cost and running costs, if a license agent.

Demand

Although the licensing of real estate in Florida is not too complicated, it is regulated by the Division of Florida real estate and there are specific requirements.

Here are the general requirements for obtaining a license in Florida:

You must be 18 years
Have a high school diploma or GED
Completion and the state-approved 63 hours Sales Associate Pre-License course
Send your application to the Building Department with the appropriate fee
Pass the state exam
There are several exceptions to satisfy the above requirements:

If you are a lawyer with a current map of the Florida Bar
If you are a graduate in four years real estate
In addition, there is also the requirement be fingerprinted and have background checks are performed before the test in Florida.
